if it is an 'tropical' variety and you are keeping it indoors, or a cold hardy variety that's in your yard ... https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/how-to-care-for-hibiscus-plants.htm

I personally use a liquid ( usually a 'blue' granule that dissolves in water) -- for 'yard' plants 2 tablespoons/gallon -- in doors 1 tablespoon/gallon once a month.... and I also use it as a foliar spray -- but alway use rain water -- or distilled water --- 'tap' water has minerals in it that are not good for plants --if you can't use rain water -- use distilled water ( like for your steam iron)

You can find plant food specifically for Hibiscus - check Amazon. Otherwise look for a water-soluble fertilizer with a 17-5-24 NPK ratio. You'll only need 1/2 tsp per gallon of water if you're watering daily. Or you can use 1 tsp per gallon for weekly feedings.

I use a fertilizer made for flowering plants and shrubs. I chose the one that actually showed a hibiscus flower on it. it isn't a water soluble type, more of a granular and powder. You put it in according to the size of the pot or surface area you are putting it on, just go by the directions. They responded really well to this fertilizer. You just scratch it into the soil and if it is a new plant, you can put it into the potting soil when you plant.

I have never found a fertilizer specifically for hibiscus and I don't do much business online, so I just find what I can locally. I found mine at Home Depot. The have lots of different fertilizers, even have things like worm castings!
