Should Alium flowers be deadheaded?

Let the goodness go back into the bulb, unless you want to use them in the house for display............

I find the structure of them beautiful even after the bloom fades!

Deadheading only refers to removing the flower after it has begun to die. It is entirely done to prolong blooming of certain flowers. The flower has NOTHING to do with sending nutrients to the bulb. The leaves are wholly responsible for nutrient creation. You can remove faded bulb flowers without damaging the bulb, but NEVER remove bulb leaves before they have died back naturally.
