Years ago when I first started flower gardening I had such a terrible time remembering all the names of my flowers, so the I started with rocks painting them and putting their names on them.
I needed something more elegant for my ever growing collection of Roses 🌹 🌹🌹
So I took a stroll through Home Depot to get my creative juices 😂😂 flowing and found such a great collection of tiles the possibilities were endless!
And yes there is a question mark tile because my memory is shot and the writing on its rock faded away 😢

Rose Markers
I went for the cheapest tiles $0.22 , I could find since I was sure if this would work or how they would hold up outside in our extreme heat and weather.
Transfer patterns
So I typed all the names of my Roses and made the font big enough to fit the tiles then printed them off and cut to fit.
Taped them in place with colored transfer paper underneath facing the tile
All ready to trace over with a big fat carpenter pencil ✏️ with several passes to make sure it transfers.
Next I peeled back the tape and paper one at a time and very slowly to make sure it was legible then painted the name on. Once dry I sprayed each tile with 3 coats of clear Krylon UV protectant spray paint .
