    @ Susan McMillin: in the gardening world they call these really large containers "the expensive real estate!" LOL It is!

    @Driftwood Gardens thanks for the post... I just moved to the Pacific Northwest and everything is so lush here... I have a beautiful sunny porch and have radish, parsey, zucchini, eggplant, beet and red pepper seedlings started... I heard that cloth grocery bags are good containers for the root vegetables... any other inexpensive container ideas you can share?
