Our courtyard in bloom

We've been working on the courtyard for 5 long years, doing a little as finances allow. This year I think we have finally finished. We will only have to plant a few annuals next year for color
sideview of courtyard shows shade garden. A large pot of pink begonias add a spot of color
A comfy swing to enjoy the flowers. Impatiens in coconut planters along the fence add color
A fountain offers soothing sounds to our courtyard. You probably can't see the cute little spitting turtle hiding in the flowerpot beside the fountain, but he's there!
A hollow log filled with plants adds a whimsical touch to the arbor
Our firepit is the perfect place to roast hotdogs or s'mores on summer nights. Our little concrete piggie, Laura, stands guard

Very neat and clean but perhaps you could plant higher shrubs to 'block out' the view of your truck as it tends to be a focal feature in your lovely garden. One should always plant so that the visitors to your garden have a splendid view or atmosphere. Like our very own 'Garden of Eden'. That is why we 'landscape'. But well done with being motivated! :-)
