How. I live in South Central Kansas. I need a bush that will only grow 3-4 ft tall on the West side of my house.

You could be in zones 6a, 6b, or 7, depending on your precise location, but wiegela, smaller lilacs, pineapple sage, blue spruce shrub, kerria, dwarf butterfly bush, false cypress shrub are all potential candidates. Do you have a particular color in mind?

  I live in the Wichita area. I was thinking reddish or yellow. I ACTUALLY have 3 wigelias already and they have grown VERY BIG!! So unless there is a smaller version, I can't use a wigelia.
