Janet- that is a very helpful link. I too have a non-blooming hydrangea that I inherited with my house. I tried bone meal this year on a passion vine that wouldn't bloom, and it had flowers within 2 weeks! I'm feeding my shrubs around the yard with bone meal now (November ) and will do it again in the spring. I'm hoping all this one needs i's the phosphorus from the bone meal.
Good luck Gbwakeman... maybe we'll both be blooming next year!
It may take a few years. Don't cut back. Make sure it gets enough sun, but not too much. I had one that I thought would never bloom, bloomed this year first time. I stopped cutting it back.
Thanks....Guess I need to be patient!
