Can I give vinegar to my azaleas to acidify the soil?

I read about this (vinegar and water mix) but want to know what the ratio is, how often and what time of year is best?

You could simply add your coffee grounds to soil around azaleas to acidify the soil.

Vinegar kills. It works wonderful as a weed killer and a bug killer. What you should do is add sphagnum moss. Two or three inches will raise the acidity level.

I cleaned my condenser unit and with vinegar and dishwashing soap. Three weeks later, this is what happened to my beautiful azalea. Wish I could save it but no clue on how to help it. It’s on CPR right now. Any suggestions thank you from cypress Tx.

Vinegar will kill it. You can add coffee grounds to boost them. Also, Miracle Gro makes an acid loving granule that you dissolve in water that I've had great luck with on mine. They are blooming now (they are encore azaleas)! The only drawback is that you need to be careful with it so that it doesn't stain your sink or whenever you mix it.
