2 Very Easy Ways to Propagate Succulents
They are the easiest to propagate. When you get your cutting or bit of plant let it sit for a few days to allow a scar to set then plant it and keep it damp.
No advice, I was just wondering the same question!
I work at a nursery. We take pieces of the succulent and immediately put them in plug tray (pint size pot would work) using plug mix instead of potting soil. You can usually pick up bags of plug mix at the big box stores like Wal-Mart or Lowe's.
is it called plug mix?
Yes, but they root best if you dip them in root starter and sit over night
