Generally, no. You will get a pretty tree but no lemons.
You can but it does take a bit of work and several years. I have 3 growing right now, but it will be 2 or 3 more years before they fruit. The link Janet supplied is perfect. You can always Google, visit a nursery or call your County Extension for local info for your area.
