Does anyone know this flower?

When I was little, we had this little bush that had bright yellow flowers that you could watch bloom every night at dusk. All the flowers would bloom at once. By morning the flowers would fall off. It's not primrose and it's not 4 o'clocks. I'd love to find this but have no idea what it was. Anyone able to help me?

The Missouri Primrose, is another night-blooming primrose with large, bright lemon yellow flowers . More of a a sprawling groundcover . Or it could be
the Chocolate Flower (chocolate daisy), blooms at night, releasing a chocolate scent until early in the morning.

I haven't seen them since I was a kid. They look similar to 4 o'clocks but are bigger. They're not any of the above suggestions, but thanks for trying!
Do you know what planting zone you lived in then? I wonder if it is night-blooming jasmine?
Sorry had I read more carefully I would have seen that a jasmine has too small a flower.
