Does magnesium work for flowers like it does for vegetables?

    If your flowers, such as roses crave magnesium, then sure- add some magnesium (aka epsom salts) as a good fertilizer for them!

    Use this very sparingly.To much can burn out the root system.

    When you side dress your flower, herb, veggies- just mix some epsom salt in . Be careful to stay a few inches away from the plant itself and mix in thoroughly with your compost, soil or medium. Water in and WALLA!

    yes to epson salts . But I also crunch up egg shells and put around the base of plants. They'lll add calcium and magnesium to your flowers.
