I think you have a bleeding heart vine. Just planted some myself and I have never had them before. I got them small and had no idea they were vines and they were labeled bleeding heart. When they started to grow it was a surprise, so I looked them up. Can't wait for them to bloom next year.

@Irene I think Bella fuschia too. Bleeding heart doesn't have the double flower and has smaller delicate leaves

I live in Florida, so I'm guessing they are more common down here in the south as you can see by other responses. I also grew the others when I lived near Syracuse.NY. So, I totally get the confusion. Check them out on line. Look for bleeding heart vines. Gorgeous as they get bigger. Sharon, be sure to provide support. :)

It's a clerodendrum. Sometimes called bleeding heart vine and sometimes glory bower. Grows well in Florida, but some people say it's invasive. Mine grow in pit's since they freeze out here in nc texas.

Agreed it's a clerodendrum.. aka glory bower. had one here in DC, as an indoor plant that I put outside in the summer.. don't have it anymore because I neglected to bring it back in before first frost. Cant find it around here anymore. ah well, I'll be moving soon anyway. love that vine.
