How best to move a 4 year old rhubarb plant?

It came from my father-in-laws house which we no longer have in the family. This is the first summer that it seems to be really thriving. We will be moving it to a house down the street.

I found this on line...hope it's not too late in your area
"The best time to transplant rhubarb is in early spring before growth begins. Carefully dig up the plant with a spade. Large plants may be divided into several sections. Each section should have 2 or 3 buds and a portion of the root system."
Since you have to move the plant and are in the summer of the year where you are, it is a little late in the optimal time frame to do this, so hope for good results.
Dig it up and section it off into groups of 2 or more buds or stalks, keeping the roots with each section. When it arrives at it's new home, water well.
With as much soil as possible to a prepared new site quickly...............
