Prune them :-). We didn't know we had to do this, and after the first few years of thinner and thinner yields of smaller and smaller fruit, we discovered the magic of pruning! There is lots of info on the net that tells how and when to do this. Good luck!

10-5-5 is a good, well-balanced fertilizer. A second fertilizer application after pruning will provide the nutrition needed for the new growth to break from the pruned branches.
