How do I fix this aloe vera?
Hi there,
im new to this community but I’ve seen people ask similar questions, I have this beautiful aloe Vera plant and have has it for around 3 years, I’ve never properly researched aloe Vera care and that’s starting to take a toll on my plant - it’s growing very weirdly and is dropping quite a bit, I’m wondering wether it needs repotting or I should leave it - it’s rainy here in the uk so I can’t leave it outside !

It needs less water and more sun. I would repot it into a free draining mix like cactus mix. When you get a day when the rain stops put it outside to get bright filtered light but no direct sun. It can be acclimated to direct sun but needs to be done slowly.
when you are looking for information on plants search for ‘aloe Vera edu’. This will search within education listings and should be more authorities than just someone’s opinion.
Here's some help for your plant, the requirements:

It needs about 6 hours of sun daily and water about every 3 weeks.
Put in a large shallow pot. The "droop" is due to the weight on the long stems.
Hope here’s a link that should be helpful.
Consider watering infrequently and deeply.

My aloe it totally wonky. It used to be straight but has fallen over several times. I put it back in the pot and it grows in all directions. Celebrate it. I also see you have pieces cut off of the ends. If you are using for cuts etc. use the same leaf or cut one of the leaves close to the plant, use what you need and wrap and freeze the rest of the leaf. Saves the tips from looking all chopped.

Just keep watering it and put it near sun. The tips that have been broken off - those stalks will grow back. Aloe plants are so hardy!!
You can make sure its near the sun
Too much water, not enough light, too warm. It has grown too quickly and you will need to stop watering it.
Aloe needs sun. I had one that was around for 45 years. But the February Freeze got it. The Plant had on little stem that was still alive. I brought that in the house until the cold weather was over, then put it outside. That one little stem is now a beautiful plant. Aloe also does not need much water it is in the cactus family.
