How to get bell peppers to grow taller?

I planted them a month ago the are starting peppers there just not getting taller or are they supposed to be that way

Depending on the type of pepper, they start to set fruit rather quickly, if they are healthy, leave them alone and let nature do its job. You will be blessed with an abundance of peppers . . .Helpful Reply -
