Hi Julie! I'm not sure I understand what you are looking for. I'm confused about planting something you are wanting to give for gift?
We also need to know the area where you live to suggest a plant that will grow well where you live. Can you try again, and hopfully we can help you? Good luck.
I am guessing she means zip codes and perhaps she will give them as potted gifts...1 is in Missouri and 1 is in California.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... what type of plants are you looking for? inside or outside - orchids, succulents, etc.
Outside in California,,,,, some of my favorites are fuschia bushes, camelias, bonsai, jasmine, angels trumpets, peonies, orchids, used to have many different ferns like rabbits foot and staghorn ferns, violets
I have also had succulent and cactus gardens - stone plants, pencil cactus tree (Euphorbia)
I used to collect carnivorous plants like venus fly trap, sundew plants, pitcher plants, bromeliads, butterworts
I suggest you google some types of plants you consider unique.
