the peach was bought 7 yrs. ago at the same time we bought a bradford pear from the same place. the bradford we put in the front yard it is big and beautiful as it has matured the leaves get prettier in the fall and it provides more shade each summer. The peach we put in the back yard and it looks healthy but thats all I can say it has got some small very hard green peaches on it maybe 2 times and just a few. can anybody tell me what's wrong do we need to cut it down and start over or what. 5 yrs.ago we got a plum tree that we planted in the front yard we had a drought that year and I am not kidding when I say that poor tree was down to a stick no leaves I almost pulled it up when winter came I didn't and in the spring it started looking healthy so I waited and it grew some and got leaves and a few blooms on it then so we left it alone that year and the next year we pruned it just a little. Each year since then it has looked better but it hasn't gotten but maybe a few flowers on it since then and no fruit. last spring our hummingbird feeders attracted some bees but that was after the trees would have flowered. Should I wait and see what happens this spring and hope the bees come back and pollinate these trees or start over or is pollination the problem? I'll try anything I hate to give up on these trees if they maybe have a chance.
