I need help with my asparagus tree, please!

I have asparagus that has been growing for three years and all I get is a fine fur like plant. What I need to do?

    Its ok- it sometimes takes 3-4 years for aspargus to be ready to harvest, make sure that the plant is healthy and no pests. You got this!

    Do not pick the young asparagas. Wait two years to pick, Even three, then you will have good and bigger ones every year.. Only pick for one month , then let them go to fern and let the fern die back.

    Make sure you fertilize it in early spring before it starts growing. It needs to be picked as soon as the stalks reach 5-8 inches, so you need to watch it carefully in early spring or you will miss it and it will grow into a fern.
