I have lots of raspberry plants. Do I have to prune them?

    It would be best to prune. They get very wild looking and the branches get very long. Get a landscaping book from the library (oops. I'm showing my age!) or go on line to You Tube/raspberry bush care.

    We prune off any dead spots. Pruning is good for fruit trees/bushes as it makes it send out more fruit. Also you should feed it. We use Miracle Gro on our raspberries.

    Online is a wealth of knowledge on this subject. It sometimes depends on the species of raspberries.

    Yes. ehen they are done putting on berries you should trim them back I guess you can cu them as tall as you want

    You only trim out certain shoots when you are trimming raspberry bushes. The older ones are much darker in color and look dryer and these are the ones you want to remove. I would do some research on the topic or have someone experienced show you before you start trimming.
