I have white calla lilies and wonder why the blooms turn green awhile.

Hello Jmmada; That is just the nature of Calla lilies. Their blooms try green while they are growing. Once they become larger, they will not be such a greenish hue.
Take Care!!
Callas need a lot of sun. Not enough direct sun can cause callas to look greener. Can also be from a low amount of nitrogen in the soil.
That is the nature of the lilies, cut the whole stem off to produce more flowers.
Mine were white when I planted them. However , I did plant them next to some blood red gladiolus. What was white last year is now a gorgeous magenta . I'm not complaining !
