I have an Aero grow garden that uses cigar shaped peat pods to start seeds in. I was wondering if anyone knows how to their own pods?
If you are using a potting soil then I would not add anything yet as it might be too strong. If you are using soil from your yard, you could mix a bit of miracle grow into it. Combine the fertilizer then let the soil sit for a couple days to let it all blend and so it won’t burn the seeds.
I grow mine indoors as well, I use the pods. I am in agreement with Jana I would not put anything on them.
Seeds should never be fertilized
I wouldn't use fertilizer on the tender shoots, it may burn the sensitive young roots.
Start them indoors in a potting soil, when you move them outdoors that is the time to start fertilizing. Not too much, it could burn the plants and never use fresh manure.
Yes if It’s diluted miracle grow and use a very small amount, thats how I do it with the seed pots in a tray so they can get the water from the bottom
