I found the same flower that Sharon found. LOL I came back to post it and saw that it's already posted. I also checked to see if this plant grows in the West Indies because the link above didn't mention that. I found on Wikipedia that it is naturalized in the West Indies! Here's the Wikipedia link. Yes.... it looks like a variety of amaryllis.
I do not think that is a amaryllis after researching several sites.It seems to be a wild lily
Could it be a hippasterum , a really tough bulb.diaes down at winter.
