I wasn’t able to cut all my plants down before the snow came.

So, some of my iris, lilies and peonies are still not cut down. What can I expect this spring because I didn’t cut them down?

They should be fine.they all feed from the foliage

I don't cut mine until spring, the leaves will decay into the ground, at least what happens to my plants.

They will pop up again as usual, but you will have dead stuff on the ground.

You can expect to have to cut and remove the same dead plant stalks that you had before winter. Was just looking at my asparagus and thinking about a sunny warm day when I'll be out there with the kitchen shears snipping them off.

I never cut them, as bugs and little creatures can hide there and hibernate there. In spring they just come back every year :)
