I have this plant beside my front steps..I have no idea of the technical name but my friend who gave it to me calls it Monkey Faces!! I love it and next year I plan to divide it to plant next to my fence!

Oh, I did not know spider warts were edible! These are among my favorite plants and I love having them sprout anywhere in my yard...and forbid anyone to cut them! They are like little happies from God. They are also wonderful in an arrangement with sunflowers or yellow daisies.

Yes, Spiderwort. It can spread easily and also comes in white flowers and pink flowers. You can dig these up ANYTIME and move them. After they bloom, cut in half and they will Re-bloom over and over.

Marietta from ILL. It's definitely a Spider Wart plant. I have 3 of them; blue, pink and white. They're very hardy. They close in the sun, and open in the shade. My favorite plant.

Spiderwort! They are very invasive! Beautiful in Springtime but will die out once the weather get hot...they are very hard to remove, very deep rooted!

The white version of these flowers are commonly known as Widow's Tears. They are lovely. We have both pink & purple ones here.

yes they are Spiderwort....mine are on the side of my front ditch...they are invasive but they are helpful in areas...you don't want to cut.
