Hi Darlene, You might be watering the entire plant, instead of just the roots.

Are you over watering? Over watering can cause a wilted look. Stick you index finger into the pot (if potted) If finger comes out wet, you have too much water, if you can't put finger into dirt, it is too dry. If outside in ground, use 6" - 8" screwdriver, stick into the ground, if it comes out dripping wet, there is too much water, if hard to put into ground it is too dry add water (drip irrigation is very best). If you have some flowers in a vase that are ready to go to compost pile, crumble up a few and put into your pot this will add some natural fertilizer and act as mulch. If you don't compost, then crumble up add to your potted plants. The whole plant, petals, stems (break/cut up into small pieces), leaves.

They use a tremendous amount of water for something called 'cactus'. Check moisture level.
