All living things have a lifespan. Depending on how old your hedges are, they may be near the end of their life. Qs: What do they look like? Has there been any change to the area surrounding them? Are they receiving more or less water than a year ago, for example? Has the amount of sun they are receiving changed? If you can answer these Qs, I think I can shed some light on the issue.
What plant are they made of?? How old are they?? Evergreen?
