Mystery plant

I put seeds in little pots of dirt and then forget what I planted. I finally figured out one new plant is a papaya. I have kumquats and magnolias that are now over 6 ft tall after about 8 years. Here is a mystery plant that is several months old. It develops tiny black berries and then tiny white flowers and now it has this green bulb thing. Does anyone know what this is? After the 3 photos of the mystery plant, I also attached my papaya, kumquats, and magnolias just because I love them and am amazed that they grew. I had a nice harvest of kumquats last April and now I see new buds that will turn into white flowers that will turn into kumquats. Delicious. So exciting for someone who doesn't know what she is doing. Back to my mystery plant. It has to be from something I ate. When it first sprouted, the seeds were so tiny I could not tell what they were when I moved it to a larger pot. What is this?

From papaya seed. Was a mystery plant for a long time. I finally found a photo of a papaya and recognized the leaves
Two kumquats still in pots. I thought they were apricots for years. Both trees produced delicious kumquats in April and are now budding again.
Two magnolias from seeds I found under a tree. Roots were too entangled to separate by the time I moved them to a larger pot. It zoomed up after I put it in the ground a year or so ago.

So after googling several images I am thinking maybe a pepper plant,,as the shiny leaves match and the formation of the fruit

I was going to say pepper too, but the black berries threw me. Are you sure they were on this plant? Definitely looks like a pepper forming and the leaves match.

the picture after the papaya is a loquat not a kumquat. The fruit looks like an apricot. Kumquats are citrus

You are right Marcia. I mislabeled the Loquat. You are all correct about it being a pepper plant. I had not even thought of a green bell pepper because I seldom buy any. Thanks for identifying it. The black berries were definitely on the plant. There were far more of the little berries than white flowers. They did not increase in size and dropped off. I will keep looking for online photos of the plant with the berries on it. Thanks again, all.

I think the first mystery plant is a pepper plans and it could be bell pepper or long, green pods of what we call here "Cow Horn" pepper. One or the other. The post above me is correct in that you have loquat trees, not kumquat. Loquats are very good for you. I have two trees now and have had them at my other house. Enjoy
