Hi Joan, Try spraying a repellent solution of Tabasco sauce and water (1 tablespoon Tabasco/1 gallon of water) on your garden plants. Rabbits don’t like the taste of hot sauce. Protect your eyes when spraying, and wash your hands. Hope this helps!!

Give it some TLC and should survive since the rabbit didn't eat all of it. Definitely agree on the hot sauce and water. If need be you can go a little stronger on the hot sauce side, but test on the plant first to make sure it will not harm the plant.

Hi Joank, You could spread shredded Irish Spring bar soap around your plant. You can shred the bars on a box grater or even a food processor. Your plant should do OK since the rabbit did not disturb the root system. You may not see any blooms for a year or so but Hibiscus are worth the wait. Hope this helps.

Surround it with wire mesh fencing, buried a few inches, fertilize it and keep watered to encourage new growth. It should bounce back, even if you lose blooms this year.
