What are some easy flowers to grow and take care of?

I don't have a green thumb and easily kill any plants I ever buy either usually because I forget to water them. What are some low-maintenance but pretty outdoor flowers that someone like me might be able to keep alive?

Any type of perenial. Hostas are super easy. Decorative grasses, tulips, etc.

Not sure what zone you are in but moss rose(portulaca) and lantana are two lovely perennials that produce abundant blooms and are very low maintenance. You may also want to try fairy roses, Stella D'Oro lilies, gazania, coreopsis.

Hostas would be easy, but like anything you plant, until it is established it will need watering. After that you may never need to water again.

Flowers or are plants included. Such as Yucca and Hosta. They both flower but later . in the season. They're extremely easy to grow ann propagate so you can dig and break some "root" off to put it elsewhere in the garden or give to someone. I hardly touch either of mine except an occasional weed.
