Do you want annuals as summer bulbs should have been planted in the fall.

Yes, what annuals won't hurt what comes up in the spring.

Just make sure you don't disturb your crocus and tulips if you want them to come up next spring. We moved into this house 3 years ago and they had beautiful row of hostas on the north side of the sidewalk. The next spring what was left of the row of differing spring bulbs came up just before the hostas came up. Have fun deciding you want and planting it.

The next bulb that will flower after tulips are done is allium. I love this back to back bulb layering. They are planted deeper than tulips, so you'll have to re-dig up your bulbs, then layer again!
