I've used chicken manure, cow, horse and rabbit. Rabbit so far, to me is by far superior due to the least amount of weeds. Just curious about what you think. :)

Bat Guano is the best. It is expensive though.

Don't know a whole lot about manure, but doesn't it depend on what you are using it for as to which is best?

We've always done well with fall leaves and summer branches

I like rabbit, as well. You don't have to compost it and it is easy to mix into the soil. AND it doesn't stink.

All I have ever used was the sterilized manure you buy, probably not organic though. I haven't used manure in years. I use shredded leaves in the fall and spring and grass in the summer once grass cutting starts. In the spring it all gets tilled into the soil and I start over again.

I agree Allison, I've made tea out of it and just poured throughout the garden. Then of course in the fall tilled it into the soil.

Oh, I imagine that would be great for the plant life. I have a lady not too far away that I get trailer loads of Rabbit manure from, for free :)

Definitely not horse manure too many weeds
