When I was a kid, they were called weeds. I always picked a bouquet for my mom and she always thanked me and put them in a vase. They only lasted a day or two.
where I live they are weeds. Although I like them. I believe it is called Oxeye Daisy
is there a photo? It could be Queen Ann's Lace, named for the fussy thick collar worn by Queen Ann. I know there are many names for it, especially in North America and Europe. 😇
Oxeye daisy
Unsure of the size of the plant. If the flower is about the size of a nickel, I'd call it a wild aster (some call it a "weed"). There is also a small lavendar plant of the same flower. Now, if the flower is larger, say greater than a silver dollar, I'd call it a fringed daisy (a flower people purposely buy and plant) that can be found in white, blue and purple.
I think it looks more like an aster than a daisy. Daisy's have a larger petal and the leaves are more serrated. The buds look more like an aster. Queen Anne's lace is very dainty with small clusters of tiny flowers.
Do not know the name of this weed but it is a weed. A shallow grower and can be pulled up easily. I am in Montana and these are a nuisance.
Thanks every one, flower looks nice it grow from no where just want to make sure it looks really nice.
A daisy that grows on grass.
