out of our lawn.
It is spreading fast.
It has tuber. Can you suggest how we can be rid if it?

    Creeping Charlie.

I also suffered with Creeping Charlie! At one point, two thirds of my lawn was taken over. I tried everything under the sun. I finally tried Spectracide Weed and Feed. I mixed a much stronger solution than the instructions said. Used a handheld sprayer and really wet the "lawn" down with no rain scheduled for the next few days. Killed the Charlie and he lawn came back stronger than ever. I still get some Charlie coming back every so often, so I pull out what I can and spot spray it along with other weeds as general maintenance.

Will this work with Bishop's weed and spurge??? We are getting them from the neighborhood crows - I also now have a very small peonie bush with 2 buds on it, if the deer don't eat them, and 2 or 3 allium growing in the pachysandra.

Have you seen Bishops Weed flowers? The flowers are a lovely soft pink. I use it on a rocky, not much soil bank and it covers the ground really well. Then I add white daisies, Snow in summer, (white) and whatever I have left over or am tired of seeing in my gardens near our house.

At one point I ended up with spurge that almost took over our lawn, but even though mine is purple and doesn't grow very tall...I, too would like to know how to get rid of it. I'm going to try the suggestion from William. the Spectracide Weed and Feed.

It's wild violet, if you let them go unmowed, they will get quite large and have small purple flowers. I have them all over my yard, and have let some areas go wild and the wild violets certainly look beautiful in the wild garden. But if it's in your way, best way to get rid of it is by digging them up. When their in my way, I put them in pots, look great on patio!

I thinkNi have the same thing it has taken over my front and back yard, it took me awhile to figure out were it came from after talking with other neighbors that were haveing the same issue we came to the conclusion that we all used or used the same gardner and he doesn't use bags in side his mower Bag and that he must of brought it from another yard. After 2 Yes all my grass is almost gone, it wouldnt be so bad because it does have a pretty flower but then they dry up and have round spar like stickers I have a bottle of Spectracide, so I will try it.
