What kind of flowering plant is this?

When we bought it, I think it was a mini rose. But I lost the card that came with it. I need to know if it can be transplanted in next few months or not.

Green stems? If so, it may be Kerria japonica.

I agree with Jane of Little Rock. Looks like the shrub more commonly known as Yellow Rose of Texas, Kerriia Japonica. Yellow pom-pom flowers early in spring. Can grow 6-8' tall so plant wisely.

It looks like flowering Carolina Jasmine. If it is, it will climb and get huge.

Thank you for all replies. It is a Lady Banks rose. It is 1 year old and didn't do anymore than water. It even survived the winter frost and snow here in Kingman, Az Now I just need to find out if it can be transplanted as we are buying house and want to take it with us. Don't want it to die.

I agree that it is a lady banks rose. I had one at the last house I lived in - Tucson, AZ. It grew very fast. It was beautiful in the spring when it bloomed. It covered one whole side of my garage. I pruned it into the shape of a heart. Gorgeous! Survived the Arizona summers.
