here you live...here in Texas I have mowed grass at Christmas...I wait till January.....my sister lives in Pennsylvania....she plants in October....a brother lives in Hawaii...he never plants.....most bulbs won't grow there
You can plant these, in the late fall, and be sure to cover them with leaves, and a pail, or a plastic box, for added protection. You may want to make a note of this, and where you plant them, just so you won't forget this, in the spring, and wonder what it is, ok? Just a note of maturity, for some of us, are beginning to "mature", ok? Judy.

I've recently moved into a beautiful house but have a problem with rolly polly or sow bugs indoors and out! I also am trying everything to get rid of the occasional mouse that finds it's way in ... so many openings from the foundation under house. :( any ideas?
I agree with Judy, plant them in the fall before you have frost. I covered mine with about three inches of shredded leaves and that was all I used. Every one of my bulbs came up this spring and flowered if the bunnies didn't get to them first. Had some good luck with using the powdered hot stuff to keep them away after the first mow down started.
