What's the best thing to do when trying to grow grass under trees?

    Needs to be shade grass and watered year round even in the winter.

    If the tree is an oak, then it's impossible to get grass to grow under it. I would make a circle garden around the tree and border it with stone or something similar like bricks. It's what my mama had to do in Georgia.

    Clean and rake the existing debris.Add top soil.lime,grass seed for shade,starter fertilizer and peat moss
