They should be pruned in very late winter or very early spring before the leaves begin sprouting. Sometimes I notice just a few leaves starting at the base and quickly get my pruning shears and take care of them!Helpful Reply -

The way I remember is I heard a master gardener say on TV one time that roses are associated with Love and Valentine's. So remember to cut back your roses near Valentine's Day!❤❤Helpful Reply -
