I grow cannas to sell for funds to get me to US Capitol, DC to lobby Congress members to co-sponsor my co-created new US Congressional bill TO PASS THE EQUAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT (HJR 53 & SJR 5). Cannas love sun , water and fertilizer occ. They Should be blooming BigTime, its end of july 2017!

Only pests I see rarely are snails. Eggshells in pot dirt with them work! Oh, and be sure to nip off old bud stems.

Are you fertilizing the plant with a high % nitrogen fertilizer or using composted livestock manure? If plants live in

soil with high nitrogen content you will have lots of beautiful green foliage and little to no blooms. Same goes for vegetable plants however flower drop occurs as well. If so, you will need to ballance the nutrients and micro nutrients in the soil. Also, if the plant roots are restricted from spreading or are crouded it may need larger living accommodations.

You need to divide them. They also could be in poor soil.
