Why are my tomato plant leaves turning purple?

    It usually means that the plants have some sort of nutritional deficiency. Have you fed the plant at all?

    Yes I have fertilized we have had a lot of rain I think that may be what the problem is, or maybe not enough potassium

    Usually a plants leaves turn purplish when they are getting too much sun; they are getting the right amount of water...otherwise they would shrivel & die & dry up...but they aren't...too much sunlight. The same thing happens with Hens & Chicks when they get too much sunlight....give them a little more shade...I'm sure you will find a change in the leaves.
