Why aren't my zucchini and spaghetti squash growing and producing ?

I planted seeds for zucchini and spaghetti squash. They are growing nicely, have lots of flowers but I'm only getting 1 squash and a few zucchini. Most flowers are falling off or if there are some growing they seem to be falling off also. What is wrong?

Most likely they are not getting enough cross pollination

Hello Loretta. This is not really the season to harvest zucchini yet. But don't let those blossoms go to waste. You can stuff them with just about anything and fry them. They are delicious. Make sure to water your garden at least every other day. That might be your solution. Hope this helps. Good luck.

You need bees to pollinate each blossom to produce squashes. You can do this procedure yourself using a small paint brush if there aren't many bees around.. There are instructions on the Internet.

Yes,many years ago when my squash plants weren't producing. I don't remember the exact details, but I do remember using a very small paint brush and it did work.
