Why are my black eyed susan vine leaves turning yellow?

My black eyed susan vine leaves are turning yellow and falling off. Does anyone know why.
Yellow leaves are an indication that the plant is not getting enough water. When the roots go looking for moisture, they take it from the plant. That's why bottom leaves yellow first. They are the closest to the roots. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
Yellow leave also can appear if you are over watering if you don't have a hole in the pot or if you have a lot of rain.

Are you over watering them?
I would agree with Lori. I have found most anything that turns yellow is over watered in that the abundance of water washes the nutrients from the soil.
