I wanted to make a small habitat for my air plants. I bought the air plants with my mother and her sisters in mind. My mother's favorite flower was the Seven Sisters Rose. I decided to add a few more plants hence Six Sisters & Friends.
I started with a wire basket with handle so that I can transport if necessary. I then used popsicle sticks of various colors and glued them together forming a square . I used plastic containers and made holes for "breathing". I affixed the basket to my wall.
I configured the color wall and various elements. I carefully placed the flowers on the color wall and in the basket. I included a rock. I added a few more plants.
As time goes by, I'll add and dress up more and more. I have an Xtra cutting of a Jade plant from my larger one which is currently hanging on the side. It will all come together in time.
Easy, fun project for my good free time.
