Can I put my tomato plant vines in my compost?

frost came. The tomatoe stems and leaves are done. What can I do with them?

I would not do this, unless you are using the compost for another area than your vegetable garden..

The stems and leaves are just fine. I wouldn't put in the fruit unless you want to be plucking tomato starters out of your garden all summer. :)
I would put them in the compost bin.
If the stems are long, cut them up for faster decomposition.
Are they organic??
