How do I clean rusty garden clippers?
My clippers over time have become rusty and icky looking. What can I clean and polish them up with EASILY LOL Thanks. They are still sharp just need good cleaning. I do keep them in the garage.

WD40 and steel wool.
sand paper to the blades..it will help sharpen them.
Years ago, someone gave me great advice. Clean with WD-40 after use. Then, keep them in a flower pot filled with dry sand. I didn't like the sand, but, I started saving those silica packets that are in packaging (you can buy it too) and keep them with all my tools. The WD-40 keeps the rust at bay and the silica absorbs moisture.
WD40 or naval jelly
Mineral spirits and steel scouring wool will shine them. Clean with your trusty blue dish detergent & dry well. Recoil with mineral oil & they will look as good as a shiny new tool. Happy gardening😀
