My question is what is the distance to the the water supply? And are there any plants covering a path to run a waterline? Or will it be run underground? Thanks
There are several drip irrigation systems that you can screw onto your hose bib and have a timer and separate nozzles for your plants that you could use. You would be required to buy the timer, a roll of tubing, a punch tool for your nozzles, a hose clamp for the end, and maybe some small tubing and tubing connectors. These items are available at most home in provement centers.

You can use the leaking jug methode. A 1 gallon milk jug, make a small hole in the bottom to let water out. If you can find a milk jug with a screw on top...how tight you screw it on regulators the flow of water.
