Hibiscus tree not blooming?
No flowers cut down twice. What am I doing wrong? Had beautiful yellow flowers before. Growing but no flowers.

Is it a tropical or perineal? I never prune my tropical but my perineals plants I cut down all the way in the springs, trees I prune after they are done flowering but I just prune to shape them
My hibiscus flowers on the newer growth, so you probably need to let it grow for a while to get that new growth and develop flower buds.

before you trim it back again, you may want to consider repotting and fertilizing.
I would suggest a clay pot. When you remove your plant from the old pot, try to shake off some of the dirt around the roots so when it’s repotted those roots are in direct contact with the beautiful new high quality potting soil.
Next I would fertilize every other week with an organic fish emulsion fertilizer.
These are the steps I’ve tajen with my hesitant bloomer and it’s much happier (and blooming).
