I rake the dead spot real well and remove all old grass, then rake up the dirt a little to ready the ground to plant new seed, cover with a little straw and keep wet for about a week to ten days, then water as needed and reseed as needed. Keep the dogs off that spot if you can.
Hello. I have trained my dog ( current and past) to pee in the mulch) over the past 19 years -so I may not be aware if all possible solutions but this product is fairly new, and I have not personally tried it. It may be worth investigating researching reviews and Q+As.
