We always remove the soiled top layer of dirt, put some fresh soil on the spot, add grass seed and water. That’s the only way we’ve found that works. There is “patch” seed out in the stores
Good Morning Dmariebees :) Here is a link that will help you fix the problem. I have a female, too, who seems to like using the same area every time which, although makes repair convenient, has caused a huge brown spot in our lawn ... like a target LOL. I need to use this method too in order to fix that problem, but then, as THAT patch is "healing" she will be working on making another one in another area (or several more in several areas?) SIGHHHH .... Seems I may have to create a small "dog run" for that sort of business and then we can have a nice looking yard for playtime with the kids and perhaps just the occasional accident during play.
